Mexican Hand Painted Figures Man and Woman With Lilies Tialli

A pair of statues from Mexico. A man carrying a basket of lilies on his back and a woman with child looking over her shoulder and she is carrying a basket on her arm. The statues are hand painted and signed: Tialli. They are each on a wood stand. He is 17 inches tall and she is 16 1/4 inches tall. They are both in excellent condition. The colors on both are quite vibrant. A great addition to your decor.

.Llardro Figurines

The company was founded in 1953 by three brothers, Juan, José and Vicente Lladró, in the village of Almàssera near Valencia. Starting with items such as vases and jugs, it wasn't until 1956 that they started producing the sculptures for which they are now most famous. Enthusiasm for the items produced by the Lladró brothers saw their small workshop expand several times until eventually they moved to Tavernes Blanques in 1958.

Check out these exquisite Llardro pieces now available at Caljed’s Vintage and More.
